First Attempt at Stretch Bars

My Abstract paint was done on loose canvas which was a first for me. It was going to cost $70 to stretch it. The class only cost $50.

I went to Colours and bought my own stretch bars and the very nice man in the framing department cut me supports for the corners because 36 x 36 is just to big to go without supports.

This is my attempt. I think it turned out great.

Day 4 So this has been a very trying day. I had 3 kids worth of activities I had to deal with and throw in a couple bonus kid activities that all fall at the same time and then cupcake #3 goes and throws a huge wrench in the works. Needless to say not much time to create. I still got in 2 hrs so I started this and hope to finish it tomorrow but have decided to take cupcake #3 to the child and youth mental health intake drop in tomorrow so maybe not. We will see. Day 5 Messed up Day 6 I didn't any pictures but I made 3 cakes for my little guys school carnival cake walk. Day 7 Worked on the painting but didn't photograph because I was so frustrated. Bad day! Day 8 Finally finished but I must say the water was very difficult. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Rainbow Stew - a short story

Rainbow Stew By Ilana Hoegler For Madison, Jack and Wyatt   The Arrival The children arrived in a garden surrounded by a 25ft pink wall. Mady, Jack and Wyatt were without memory of their beginning or history. How I learned to love reading.

I have never been a good reader. I have tried for years to read especially after I had children to be a good example. I wanted to raise kids who loved to rea   It did get easier once ereading was invented but I was still really slow. I felt dumb. I think because I was so slow and I had a hard time processing the written word that I was attracted to simpler books written for teenagers. I also like a sweet love story. This is where I developed my love of stories of Utopian society or more accurately the failure of Utopian society, lol and my favorite love stories involving vampires and other magical characters. A year ago I lost the ability to read due to depression and CFS. I still wanted to read so my friend suggested audiobooks. I started finding a selection of unabridged audio books on the website of my public library using the OneClick, Overdrive apps and when the library didn't have something I wanted to read I went to Audible.
